DC Multisport Members and friends, in celebration to ROJAC's 10th Anniversary, Community Day in Old Jasper will be taking place on Saturday, July 13. DC Multisport is sponsoring the 5k run/walk that will be taking place that morning at 9:30 am. There is no cost associated with participating in the 5K and participants will receive a t-shirt. The event is funded by Dave & Brenda Buehler. Click here for more information on the events.
We have planned a spring social event open to the public on April 12 at the 18th Street Park in Ferdinand, IN. The event will begin at 5:30 pm weather permitting. If the weather does not cooperate, we will move the social into the Tri-county YMCA. Our guest speaker for the evening will be professional tri-athlete Nick Waninger. Nick is a world class athlete who will be sharing his philosophies, training regimen, diet and will open to answering questions.
Please come and meet with fellow joggers, walkers, cyclists, and swimmers. Newcomers, amateurs, and semi-professionals are all welcome. Meet new people and find new workout partners! Sometimes you may need a little encouragement to get moving, and we're bringing locals together to help provide that motivation. See you in Ferdinand! The St. Joseph Church 5K Run/Walk kicks off the church's annual Summer Picnic. This event is open to runners and walkers of all levels. The course, which begins and ends on Kundek Street next to St. Joseph's Parish Center, is run on gently rolling hills along Jasper's city streets. All participants will receive a t-shirt and be entered to win attendance prizes.
