It's time to get your bike and body tuned up for the first ever Ferdinand Folk Fest Fondo! We have 2 challenging and scenic routes planned out on some of the best roads in the state for your cycling pleasure, and when your legs are tired, what better way to relax than to kick back in the park and listen to some exceptional, local, regional, and national musicians! This year's festival will be headlined by Todd Snider! On Saturday, Sept 21st, there are 3 route options of 26, 33, and 50 miles, and the fun continues with a 50 mile ride on Sunday, Sept. 22nd. Rest stops are located approximately every 10-15 miles to give you a chance to re-hydrate and refuel. To accommodate all of the visitors to Ferdinand, camping options are available in town to cyclists, and a post-ride meal is being offered on Sunday. All proceeds from this event will go to our gracious hosts, the Sisters of St. Benedict for their work with the Family Scholar House.
Please sign up early so we can plan accordingly (we will accept day-of registrations), and help spread the word to all your cycling buddies near and far!
